Xavier Cha 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣In 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, Cha opens the audition process to a public audience, focusing our attention on the craft and material of acting, allowing us to see many interpretations of the same role in quick succession, and emphasizing the changes of affect that signal that the actor is playing a part under the camera's gaze.
𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 comprises two events (June 1 and 28), footage from which directly enters a video installation presented in Miriam’s front gallery.
Mirrors
Alice’s mind is a powerful thing. Diagnosed with bulimia, she embarks on her healing journey. But, the further she falls down the rabbit hole of her illness, the more absurd her reality becomes. Her only comfort comes from an unconventional group therapy who help the road to recovery become less isolating. Mirrors’ reflects on the absurd, humorous, and tragic realities of eating disorders.
Mirrors made it’s NYC debut at New York Theater Festival 2022.

This Webseries follows Andre Walters, who accidentally ingests four bars of Xanax landing her in the emergency room and shipped to a mental institution on suspicion of attempted suicide. Despite all her efforts to explain the mistake, Andrea is signed in for six weeks at the institute with no way out. Once there, she realizes that the hierarchy of the girls at the institute is just as intricate as the one at her high school, with the only difference being that crazy is cool.
